I make a similar tomato soup as a base, but if you put in (a lot of!) fresh basil... it takes things to another level. Then take it off the heat, and stir in 1 pt. of cream & add 1/2 c. butter. Wisk it all together and top with smoked gouda & homemade croutons. Presto... an omg moment. :) You have a lot of great recipes here, I like looking at your foodie pics and reading your commentary.
